It's been a while since I've sent you information on what is going on here at the shop.  We have a lot of new classes and products, so I wanted to share that information with you.

Tilda Trunk Show
We are VERY excited that we have some quilts that came directly from Tilda on display.  They are only here for a short time, so stop in soon to see them.  She always has very interesting fabrics and patterns, and we love them!

Cory Yoder Sunny Patches Quilt Along
Beginning on March 18th Corey Yoder is doing a quilt along with her new line of fabric called Sunny Patches.  As you can see from the picture below, it is somewhat of a mystery quilt.   She has this set up were you follow along once per month for 8 months.  We have the fabric kits available in the shop if you decide to create this adorable project.  



Spring Break Shop Hop
Once again this year we are going to be a part of the Spring Break Shop Hop that includes the following shops:  Quilt This-Dubuque, Cotton Cabin-Dubuque, K & K Logo-Dyersville, The Quiltmaker's Shoppe-Manchester, Mary's Stitchin-Jesup, The Quilted Strawberry-Strawberry Point and Farmer's Daughter-Oelwein.  The shop will run from Monday, March 27th through Saturday, April 1st.  The Grand Prize is a $50 gift certificate from EACH shop. And there are many, many, many more great prizes.  Don't forget that you receive a FREE Villa Rosa pattern at each shop you visit.



Quilt As You Go Project Bag Class
ON April 14th we will be holding this class that will create 2 large project bags using the quilt as you go technique as well as the Zippity-Do-Done zippers.  If you hate zippers, you will love this class.  They make putting in zippers a breeze.  The fabrics are sewing themed and perfect for taking projects to retreat or class.



Wonky Log Cabin Quilt
Love the log cabin block?  This is a twist on that using Creative Grid's Wonkly Log Cabin ruler.  The class will be held on Wednesday, April 26.  You will have 2 color ways to choose from when you sign up for this class.



Cadence Court Block of the Month
We will be starting this 12 month project in May.  Love to paper piece?  Then you will love this quilt.  It will be 60" x 60" and you can choose from either the white background or the black background.  Have you never paper pieced?  We can teach you and this would be a great project to start your lover of paper piecing.



Zephyr Block of the Month
This is a beautiful quilt that measures 96" x 102" in blue and grey.  This is a 10 month project that will start in August.  It will include the fabric and pattern needed each month along with instruction on creating each block.



Kimberbell Machine Embroidery
We have lots of new projects coming soon for the machine embroidery enthusiasts.  Many are at discounted rates if you pre-order them or if you are purchasing the entire program.  Call or stop in the shop if you have any questions regarding these projects.  Have a machine embroidery machine but haven't used it?  Give us a call and we can teach you and show you all of the awesome things you can create!

UnFinished Objects Group
It's never to late to join our UFO group.  These ladies are getting all of those projects that have been laying in their sewing room for years done a little each month.  Stop in or give us a call to find out more about this great group.

Kits, Kits and more Kits
We have lots of new kits in the shop.  I encourage you to stop in and see them.  Many we have completed and on display.  There are way to many to list them all here.
